Robert Dawid
Attorney At Law
Robert Dawid is a 1992 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and a 1996 graduate of St. Louis University School of Law. Following law school he was an associate with two law firms representing felony and misdemeanor defendants as well as preparing and trying commercial and litigation matters on behalf of insurance companies, doctors and other entities.
In 1998, he joined the Circuit Attorney's Office in St. Louis and developed the White Collar Criminal Unit and tried numerous white collar felonies involving embezzlement, passing bad checks, forgery, and insurance fraud involving arson. He also handled extraditions, civil commitments and represented the St. Louis City Sheriffs in Federal Court in Section 1983 actions.
He has practiced and tried cases in the areas of medical malpractice defense of doctors, civil rights, criminal defense, product liability and municipality defense. He also served as corporate counsel to professional groups in assisting them on incorporations, employment contracts and general business transactions.
Michael Gatti

Mike Gatti was born in Detroit and grew up on the east side. After graduating from James Madison College at Michigan State University, he attended Wayne State University Law School and earned his juris doctorate in 1990. After law school Michael joined Legal Services of South Central Michigan as a staff attorney.
In 2002 Michael was appointed Magistrate of the 15th District Court in Ann Arbor. He conducted arraignments for felonies and misdemeanors and presided over small claims trials and traffic hearings. He also conducted "probable cause" hearings for the issuance of arrest and search warrants.
He has served on the board of many non-profit corporations including the Washtenaw Shelter Association, the Washtenaw Homebuyer's Board, the Legal Resource Center and Lurie Terrace. He also spent 5 years serving as the co-Chair of the Washtenaw County Bar Association's Pro Bono Committee. He concentrates his practice on civil litigation and criminal matters.
Steve Rich

Steve Rich is an attorney and veteran software professional who has worked as an advocate, entrepreneur and artist. In the public interest arena he's advised clients at tenants' unions in three states and represented low income and elderly people while coordinating technology projects for legal aid organizations.
His commercial activities included roles not only in corporate lawyering but also product development, product management, marketing communications and Web publishing.
In 2003 Steve joined the Michigan Poverty Law Program as its Technology Attorney. In Fall 2006 he entered private practice in Ann Arbor, subsequently collaborating with employment attorney Nick Roumel, Dawid and Gatti principal Michael Gatti, the Ann Arbor SPARK Business Incubator, and the Factotem Constellation.
Currently, as Of Counsel to Dawid and Gatti, Steve works primarily with technology and arts-based enterprises, advising on business organization, intellectual property, human resources, entertainment law and
e-commerce.
